Balanced cup, with a chocolatey sweetness & a crisp acidity. The catuai variety is not very common in Nicaragua but has thrived on Escondida. We have loved having their Perla Negra process Red Catuai in the past, and jumped at the chance to add the washed process Red Catuai to our list.
