Alaska was the first of Ernesto Menéndez's farms that we came across, back in 2009. This small farm sits high on the Santa Ana volcano where the coffee is grown and later processed to Ernesto's high standards. This washed SL28 really allows the coffee to shine through, with it's expressive acidity and black tea-like tannic quality.
