Finca La Chorrera is owned and run by the Claros family - Pedro, his wife Nelcy and their six children. It's a real family business with everyone pitching into the farm to make it work. The farm is located near to the city of Pitalito, on top of a mountain at 1,735 metres above sea level.
This coffee has been decaffeinated by the sugar cane (SC) method. It’s a method from Colombia and the decaffeination is done at a plant in Colombia where they use a sugar cane byproduct for the process.
