La Chorrera is owned and run by the Claros family - Pedro, his wife Nelcy and their six children, who all pitch in to keep the farm ticking along. The coffee is decaffeinated at a plant in Colombia, where they use a sugar cane byproduct for the process; as a result this decaf is like no other that you've tasted - it is really sweet and balanced, with none of the nasty flavours you often get with decaf.
