Indonesia - Pedamaran: Washed, Typica

This coffee completely changed our preconceptions about Indonesian coffee. Instead of the low altitude robusta that you might be familiar with, this is a high quality typica variety, grown by smallholders at high altitudes in the Tana Toraja region. Add to this the selective picking, and the modern washed process reminiscent of Central America, and you have a coffee which has a deep sweetness and big body, but with a suprising amount of acidity to match.
